Q: What is your role at BeSmartee and what has been your favorite project?

A: My role at BeSmartee is to be a one-stop-shop for our Human Resources needs. I manage recruiting, training/development, compensation planning, employee relations, job analysis/job design, and special projects. Every new project I complete here at BeSmartee, such as the company handbook or the compensation package, ends up replacing the last as my favorite. The projects merge my enjoyment of learning more about the mortgage and tech industry, while utilizing and strengthening my HR skill set.

Q: How has BeSmartee helped you in your career development and what are three career lessons you’ve learned thus far?

A: BeSmartee has taken my years of HR experience and helped me thrive in a new, fast-paced industry, where I get to follow my instincts and be heard. I have learned to stand for persistence and hard work, to strive for something outside of my comfort zone, and to see opportunity in every task no matter the size.

Q: What do you like to do on your days off?

A: I go see live music, comedy and improv shows, watch true crime shows/documentaries, and relax with my family and pup.

Q: What is on your bucket list?

A: To purchase another home and to house a no-kill dog rescue organization.

Q: You’re happiest when?
