We are excited to announce the latest BeSmartee release, packed with new features and enhancements to streamline the lending process. This release focuses on improving document management, data accessibility, event notifications, and compliance documentation.
UploadDoc API
We have introduced a new API, UploadDoc, enabling lenders to seamlessly upload documents to the BSM system. All BeSmartee API ensures enhanced security measures to prevent unauthorized access while optimizing the performance to process requests efficiently. Lenders can now securely upload essential documents, improving the overall document management experience. As usual, everything stays -up-to-date at our API documentation portal: https://api.besmartee.com/api/docs/lender/endpoints (FDT-694)

Modification of get-loan-data API
In response to new changes, we’ve made improvements to the get-loan-data API, providing even more comprehensive data access. Now, within the API request and response calls, we provide Credit and Automated Underwriting System (AUS) XML responses, encompassing both Desktop Underwriter (DU) and Loan Product Advisor (LPA). Our clients and partners can request XML responses to get the required data. We’ve also introduced two new data classes to support this enhancement. (FDT-692)

Manage Event Notifications
Introducing our new Manage Event Notifications page, a centralized hub designed to streamline the handling of notifications for different events. Tailor each event to align with your unique business requirements, providing a fully customizable notification experience. Once the configuration is complete, you’ll never miss important milestones or tasks, empowering you to stay proactive throughout the lending process. This ensures both borrowers and lenders are well-informed, in sync, and empowered to take timely action. On your Lender Portal, navigate to Admin → Manage Event Notifications, to start using the feature. (FDT-708)

Review Mode for Electronic Document
We’ve improved the compliance landscape by implementing a user-friendly review mode for loan documentation. Now, you can provide the borrowers the option to give a single electronic consent, instead of e-signing all of the documents. This streamlined approach simplifies compliance requirements while maintaining accuracy. Say goodbye to tedious paperwork and hello to an improved, efficient process that keeps both lenders and borrowers engaged and on track. (FDT-198)
