We’re pleased to announce the latest release of our Mortgage POS Platform, version 4.1.0, featuring improved Underwriting communication, document resend ability, and revision of workflows for both borrowers and lenders. This update also includes critical quality-of-life improvements.
1. Feature Development
1.1 More Descriptive Message for LPA Underwriting Service
Previously, the system generated generic and unhelpful messages when it came to unexpected issues, requiring lender users to access MeridianLink Mortgage LOS for critical information. Now, our POS application can pull the exact critical information regarding the LPA issue, providing the lender users with detailed and readable messages when running seamless automated underwriting. This makes technical communication a lot easier for any lender utilizing the LPA Underwriting Service.

1.2 Reupload Loan Documents
We’ve updated our system with the ability to re-upload documents. The system can now detect situations where loan documents are erroneously marked as “sent”, despite upload failures. In these situations, simply click the retry upload button shown on the interface.

1.3 Borrower Workflow Update
We’ve added new fields in the borrower’s workflow to collect essential property information, such as Year Built, Manufactured Type, Financing Option, Community Type, and Monthly Space Rent/Lease Payment.

1.4 Lender Workflow Update
In tandem with the borrower’s workflow update, corresponding fields have been added to the Lender Portal interface. This allows lenders to seamlessly process property information provided by the borrower.

2. Quality of Life Improvements
- Corrective maintenance resolved a rare issue with wrapping that hides the Loan Option Comparison table in certain circumstances.
- Corrective maintenance resolved an edge case that blocked loan updating to the MeridianLink Mortgage LOS.
- Corrective maintenance resolved a rare issue that duplicates broker user data in certain circumstances.
- Corrective maintenance resolved a rare issue that displays the percentage of down payment inaccurately.
