We are excited to announce the release of version 4.8.2.1 of the Bright POS application, which includes the following new features and improvements:
1. Feature Development
1.1 eConsent Document Generation
This feature adds an additional checkbox in the borrower application workflow, allowing the borrower to agree to the general use of eConsent. This generates a PDF of the eConsent Agreement, where it reflects the audit trail.

This PDF is pushed to Encompass’s eFolder.

Contact BSM to enable this feature.
1.2 Editing of pre-qualification letters
This feature will allow loan officers and real estate agents to edit pre-qualification letters without triggering a hit to credit.
Loan officers and real estate agents (subject to limitations) have the ability to edit the following fields:
- Subject property address
- Loan amount
- Purchase price

Contact BSM to enable this feature.
1.3 Truv – Allow borrowers to add new employment
Borrowers will be able to add additional employer information when requested by their loan officer through the loan dashboard, even if the initial Truv verification report has been generated. A new report will be generated and pushed to the LO portal and the respective loan origination system.
1.4 Removal of Loan-to-Value restriction on MI field in QuickPricer
Users with access to the QuickPricer will be able to register a product without having to enter the Mortgage Insurance, even when the Loan-to-value is higher than 80%.

Contact BSM to enable this feature.
2. Fixes
- Truv – Error on borrower dashboard when the page is refreshed: Resolved issue where the borrower imports employment via a condition and is shown an error upon refreshing the page
