We are excited to announce the release of version 4.1.1 of the Bright POS application, which includes the following new features and improvements:
1. Feature Development
1.1 Refined LOS Sync
We have refined the LOS sync functionality to automatically push a new Report ID to LOS whenever the user generates (click refresh) a new Verification of Asset/Income (VOAI) report. Before this development, refreshing a VOAI report in Bright POS would generate a new Report ID, but it would not push it up to LOS, requiring manual LOS updating.
Now, refreshing a VOAI report will sync the new Report ID to LOS instantly, making your work easier. This feature also matches the Report ID to the right borrower, even if there are multiple borrowers or co-borrowers on a loan application.
1.2 New API Class Updated
Our newly implemented API class allows you to request Verification of Income (VOI) data from the corresponding vendors. You can also request the raw XML or JSON response from the vendor by using the API class. These classes will populate the response object with the relevant data, making it easier for you to access and process the VOI information for the loan application.
1.3 Refined SMS Guide for Borrower
We have extended the on-screen guide for the borrower to include the instructions to start or stop the SMS function. This also helps us to comply with the regulations regarding SMS usage.
2. Quality of Life Improvements
- Corrective maintenance resolved a rare issue that prevented the Settlement Provider field from showing up under the Fees section.
- Corrective maintenance resolved a rare issue regarding the Co-browsing feature (edge case).
- Corrective maintenance resolved a rare issue with pagination.
