HMDA Compliance – Mandatory Demographic Fields for Face-to-Face Interviews
To support compliance with updated HMDA requirements, we’ve made a critical system enhancement in BeSmartee.
For loan applications where loan officers select “Face-to-Face Interview” as the method of collecting demographic information, the system now requires mandatory completion of the following fields before proceeding:
- Ethnicity
- Gender
- Race
This ensures that all demographic data is accurately captured to meet regulatory standards. By enforcing this requirement, BeSmartee helps lenders stay compliant while ensuring data integrity throughout the application process.
