We’re pleased to announce the latest release of our Mortgage POS Platform, Version 3.11.1. Besides continual improvements in system stability, this changelog calls out three feature enhancements and some notable system stability updates
1. Feature Development
1.1 Configurable Military Service Date Collection
As part of the compliance Form 1003/65 update and in adherence with protecting borrower privacy, we now make questions about military service optional for non-VA loans. Before this change, military service questions about co-borrowers were always displayed even for non-VA loans. If you would like to hide military service questions for non-VA loans, reach out to your BeSmartee customer support representative so they can turn this feature on.

1.2 Configurable Loan Status Display Date
For our already customizable TPO or broker pipeline page, you can now configure the pipeline’s loan status date to reflect the date of the current loan event.
We’ve added a new unlockable setting: Status Date. Once unlocked, you choose between the “Status Date” or “Event Date” to be displayed in your pipeline screen. This enhancement empowers users to customize their view, ensuring the displayed date accurately represents your loan events. Contact your Be Smartee client success representative to unlock this setting, otherwise, you can continue using your current setting as usual.

1.3 get-loan-data API Enhancement
The lender and partner get-loan-data API now allow you to receive DO/DU codified findings that Fannie Mae returns to our system during automated underwriting. This allows you to feed DU/DO responses into other automated underwriting systems providing more options for your downstream processes with external systems. Please see the following documentation for more details.
2. Stability Enhancements
- Corrective maintenance was performed to ensure lead source pricing selections are correctly saved when a loan officer makes changes in the loan officer command center’s General Tab.
- Corrective maintenance was performed so DU/DO results show an accurate and consistent DTI calculation for second-home loan scenarios.
- Corrective maintenance was performed to ensure borrowers were correctly routed when requesting new loan applications.
- Corrective maintenance was performed to address an issue where inaccurate citizenship information was sent to Encompass.
- Corrective maintenance was performed to correctly handle cases where employment contained angle brackets.
